I have the optrel lite flip autopilot and I think it is the best hood that can do everything a welder needs. It is super light, it has a flip up lens fir grinding mode in a number 1 lens. It adjusts from 4-14 automatically. I think this is the best hood that can do multiple steps. Weld, cut, grind. What hood dies everyone think is best?

I've got a digital infinity from miller and I love it. Sure you have to switch modes for cutting and welding, but the x-mode is phenomenal and the only thing I ever use. I don't know if opt real has something similar but i fell in love day one with mine and I've done a lot with it for process, cutting , grinding, etc.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

I have Jackson Truesight II. Love it, mainly due to being colorblind, the blue lens really helps me see the puddle better, the large lens is nice for grinding.
