When our mill was being shut down, rather than burn out my nice Walter Zip-Cut ing everything loose. I bought a $29.95 Hitachi. With us closing down the company wouldn't have time or interest in replacing the Walter. The Walter is a fat high amp 4 1/2". They were what the company supplied after our own units died. One of my fellow millwrights had burnt out his Walter Zip-Cutting . Much to my surprise the little, ugly green, Chinese made , Hitachi lasted ! Four years on I'm still using it in my retirement shop. There is a place for light and skinny. Even after abuse, the nut is easy to un do. Not finger easy like the Walter, but not like the struggle I have with the DeWalt either.
