I have been using a new one for a month now. Seems to be working as it should. I have been using .030 and have found it to be a great home welding machine. No its not a big boy but I have not come across anything it could not handle.

I've had mine for a year and a half and it has performed flawlessly on everything up to 3/8" mild steel.
Works as advertised, spool gun as well!

If you get a spool gun for it get the Spoolmate 150 instead of the Spoolmate 100. Much better duty cycle and will handle 5356 wire.

I don't personally own one but my friend does and I used it to do a decent amount of work on his camper that he didn't feel comfortable doing himself. I was pretty impressed with how accurate the auto set settings were and the duty cycle. I definitely put that thing through some torture pretty much maxing it out the entire time and I kept up without a hiccup. 8-)

I picked the previous generation (not the new small inverter) on Craigslist. I'm just learning to MIG but feel this machine will do what I need to do for a long time. I like the adjustability of wire speed and voltage as opposed to the click-tap machines.
