Hi - I just looked at a couple of second hand welders - one is an XMT 304 - when powered it shows help 7 & sometimes help 9 -will show some figures on digital read out but has no output on any setting -any ideas if this is worth anything regarding getting it fixed up ( there is a very old tatty Hobart suitcase wire feeder with it - not been used since the ark was built though ! - ( I'm in the UK so not too many choices on dealers ) the other is a Thermal Arc 400 GMS - that fired up fine - not had a chance to play yet - looked a good basic machine ( and it was cheap ! )- anyone have an opinion on them - is it worth looking for a spool gun as mine is an ancient general Electric stand alone thing that is'nt that great plus takes oddball consumables.

Help codes on manual page 28.

https://www.millerwelds.com/files/owner ... AU_MIL.pdf

If the codes are right and it can be solved using different power input then maybe it's worth a shot.

Repairs can be prohibitively expensive and I know nothing about availability overseas.

Thanks - I thought they were more valuable but found 2 in excellent condition on Ebay around £400 - guess over here that model is'nt fancied - be different if it was a dynasty ! think I'll leave it alone - you don't many Miller spares or service for £400. shame though - don't think the voltage is the issue - we don't have options on 3phase - it's always the same.
