i am ivor from uk and over the years I have had a number of accidental flash when I touch work without thinking what I am doing . i am thinking I am not alone in doing this

When metal working always wear safety glasses. Even clear glasses will help prevent accidentally flashing eye burns. Safety first.

Just today laying underneath a dozer doing some stick repairs and accidentally touch the rod on the skid plate when changing rods. oops :?

Oh yeah position work when there's no where near enough room and you think if I just get my arm around to over there. And then blamo. Arc the shit out of a scratch start rig and have to climb all the way back out for a toungsten change with a temporary blind spot.
I have more questions than answers
