Stick Welding Tips, Certification tests, machines, projects

Hello guys! Im new to welding overall and this week were stick welding in school. I just wanted to gwt some feed back and some tips if possible! Thanks in advance were using 7018 rod! And will be vertical welding next week.

Not bad, but you need to work on consistency. also work on keeping a tight arc. It looks like you are forgetting to feed the rod in at some points and maybe long arcing a bit.

I see a case where the weld looks cold not so much long arc'ed. The toes of your weld are rolled under, not tapered in.

Bump your amps up 5 more and run some new beads. Your travel time looks fine, and for a new welder you're off to a very good start.
