Has anyone done it? Does it work?

$3 bill says it doesn't except for the hot-start period.

most inverters won't run 6010 unless they have a 6010 or cellulose mode to switch to.
6011 will generally run, but not always. some machines simply won't run cellulose rods at all.
tweak it until it breaks

It has a 6010 icon on it and shows the range where it can be used, just curious if anyone has actually done it before I spend the money.

Dang, I may lose this $3 bill! Reviews say it can run 6010 no problem. If it does, then it can't be that bad.

Go buy one and see. If not, return it. You have 90 days, no questions asked with those guys.

Nope. Been on vacation since last Sunday. Going to pick one up when I get home.

I'm curious too see if it really does run it well. Brett, have you ever ran E6010 on a capable machine before, to compare?

Yeah, I'd say the chance are pretty good you lost that $3 bill. ;)

However, the proof is in the pudding as they say...if you go to the HF sight, look at the model and picture 3 and picture 4 show a different front face on it, picture 3 has the E6010 light on the far right of the panel, and the 4th picture has the E6010 light next to the Amperage knob.

Probably not a bad stick welder for the money if it does E6010.

One could always substitute 6011 in it's place, most all stick welders will do that.

No problem, I can help you figure out how to post it, so long as you can record it.
