Having bit of issue with my 3g not laying flat im using 1/8 7018 rods at 115 amps. When I practice on flat plate it lays flat with no bumps but when I get into test piece it's bumping up at points is there way to help resolve issue, im working it pretty much 90 degree in except for last quarter inch to half inch from end of plate where im at slight push

Try pushing it all the way. Not excessivly, just 5 degrees or maybe 10 at max. Also if you are doing a zig zag weave, try a inverted V weave. That usually seems to to help keep it flatter.
