I started stick welding a while ago with 6013 and it's cool, but now I want to give a try to 6011 or 7018 and it seems impossible to find them here in Europe.

Does anyone know the references I should look for?

Thanks

Really no problem in Europe to get them:

7018: https://www.weldingtool.eu/utp-stabelek ... -h-10.html

In switzerland: https://www.sechy.ch/produkt/basisch-----e-7018-407

ISO code would be 2560-A E 46 4 Mo B 42 H5 or 3580-A: E Mo B 42 H5

6013: https://www.weldingtool.eu/scapp-stabel ... -6013.html

Switzerland: https://www.sechy.ch/de/produkt/rutil-------6013-388

ISO 2560-A: E 38 0 RC 11

The ISO classifications include various sub-types that are indicated by additional letters or numbers after the US AWS classifiaction, so the various sub-types of rods within the same general family (eg. there's a whole set of different '7018' out there) will have somewhat different codes.

Bye, Arno.

For what ever reason I cannot upload file link. But if you google lincoln electric consumables guide eu.
You should find an explaination of the iso code system. ISO has got different designations than aws. But most countries still use aws and ignore ISO unless they need to use specific consumables on the spec sheets of plans.
This guide is extensive but like always from lincoln, very useful being in a phone or toolbox as it covers stuff that is not easy to recall on the fly job to job.
I hope it helps. Dont be overwhelmed by data just take what suits, Smile and melt stuff.

I think you should come to America or Australia. 4 numbers, that's it.
That Euro ID system sucks the big one.
