I am looking to get a syncrowave 250 & was wondering if the 250dx is any better?

Personally, I like the plain old sync 250 better.
The DX seems to have a little softer start at low amperages for really thin stuff but not enough to make a big difference.

ARE YOU CONSIDERING NEW ONE? OR 250 USED CAUSE I BELIEVE THE ONLY SYNC AVAILABLE NOW IS THE 250 DX OR THE 200 SYNC.

Used of course.

How would a syncrowave 300 with pulse compare?

I Really like the syncrowave 351 over the 250, and they can be had for not a lot of coin. We have one at our shop, and it welds just about everything, no problem. Pulsed tig is essentially useless. Don't let it be a deciding factor in your purchase.
