Which process puts less heat input in the materiel and why?

Not welding anything is by far the clear winner. :lol:

JB weld is the least heat input I know of !

Really which one out of tig, mig, or stick is better for less distortion?

The reason these responses cone out is because of very general qiestion that that are missing many important parameters. While heat input can be associated with distortion, joint fixture'ing and geometry has a lot to do with distortion in the finjshed oroduct as well.

Let's say I'm using the same settings for all three processes and the same thickness material?

Can't use the same settings for mig, tig, stick...

You will get a lot better responses if you show pics of what you are trying to do.
