What's a fair price on 1/16" stainless steel filler rod (308L). My local LWS has 10 lbs for $61. Online I can get 5 lbs for $18 but it's like $15 in shipping which makes it even.

I bought it at Airgas, I would assume their prices are the same at all their stores.

All three LWS I buy from are about $60 for 10lbs of 308 and 316 in 3/32 or 1/16
I have more questions than answers

On there website the lowest price is 6.88 a lb. I'll stop and check sometime though. I have one up the road. I'll ask both. Sometimes they have student discounts as well

I have maybe 30 lb. of 316 wire for a cancelled job. It's not filler, just wire. Do you think I could sell this? I've used it for filler with no issues. .070"diameter, 6 foot long pieces.

At home I got a Power Tig 185 DV. Nice, but no plasma cutting... Nice tight arc after a second.
