Hello all, I am finally getting around to becoming a member here and will do a proper introduction later as soon as I can. I come to you all with the hopes someone can answer a question for me. I have been using the same TIG torch setup for 14 years now and it is finally on the out. I would like to replace it with a like model, but I am not sure of the make/model as all tags and markings are long gone. It is water cooled and a ball/socket swivel, but that is all I know. I have not tried to take it apart at this point for fear of never getting it back together, as it is getting by at this point. I have taken it to a few stores to have them help identify it, but no luck. I purchased a Weldcraft SF225 setup to replace it, however it is not a ball/socket and is just a flex. Does anyone out there recognize this torch, or have a suggestion to a replacement. I appreciate the help, and will do my proper introduction as soon as the time permits.

Your torch is a vintage Tweco blackgold.

I've settled on purchasing a CK flex loc as soon as I can justify the need for an articulating torch. I didn't read anything bad about the TEC torches when I was searching either.

The end cap is relatively new, but the Tweco Black Gold seems to be spot on. I cannot find much out there about it yet, hopefully there is a comparable replacement. It has been a awesome torch over all these years, it is a shame the model is not around anymore.

Did you look at the WTB-20, it has a ball joint.
