Lincoln Precision Tig 225 Issue

Postby zabeln » Sun Dec 10, 2017 4:11 pm

I know it's been discussed on here before, but has anyone had issues with the Precision Tig 225 on AC? I've found the AC balance to be very erratic and also the high frequency start doesn't work consistently. I've had no luck keeping my tungstens in a decent shape, I've used Pure tungsten, 2% lanthanated, ceriated, thoriated, and even the purple tri mix with a gas lens setup. I didn't have any issues with a Miller machine that I used at work, so I know my settings are in the ballpark. Any input is greatly appreciated.
