Well I decided to build my own welding cart. I needed 3 shelves and I just couldn’t find one I like that fit my price range so I just designed and build my own. Still have to add a few things but here it is!

Not 100% sure yet, might grind it out and clear coat it raw or paint it. Just not sure.

NICE Bro .... you "knocked it out of the park".
My vote is to grind/sand it with a course disk (lots of swirl marks) and then clear coat it....would look really fine it think.
Anyway, Great job again.

Thank you! I am still debating on how to finish it but when I do I’ll post it here.

Well done!
Bonus points for not taking the easy way out and making it square

I would only add some kind of roll-cage, just in case you push it sideways over some hose or cable...

Makes me remember a long time ago sitting in the principals office trying to explain how I managed to trip an expensive film projector on the floor

Thanks! I wanted something that suited my needs and wasn’t a cookie cutter setup. I really liked the ZTfab one but I just couldn’t drop the coin on one after upgrading to my new setup. I still have a few things to do to the cart but It turned out pretty cool.

That's custom man. I need to buy another machine so I have a reason to build that cart.

The cart isn’t done but here is the new setup it was built for.

Finally finished the cart off with some lead hangers and a paint job.

Very nice!

I'd like to ask what the dimensions are? Mainly interested in the width. I am interested in a single tank cart, and would like something narrower than 24", which most of the 2 tank carts are. Your cart looks stable with a single tank.

Ideally I'd like to have a small table that could flip up, or be stored on the cart to be used for welding on, that way it would be a complete mobile solution. I don't know if that is asking too much or not, but could always use a Nomad type table if needed.

The cart is 13 1/2” wide not including the hangers. With the wheels on it is 38 1/4” tall, each shelf is 16” apart. I built the shelves out of 3/4” square tubing and welded the 1/8” plate inside of the Square tubing making kindof a tray so that if for some reason anything shifts it won’t fall off. The sheet I used to cut out the decorative sides was 1/8” pickle oiled hot rolled steel. Basically the same as hot rolled but they dip it in acid to remove the slag so it has that cold rolled shine. I went with it since it was as cheap as normal hot rolled but I wouldn’t have to do a lot of carbon clean up. It roles really nicely. I used Caster’s from northern tool and some pneumatic lawn mower wheels for the rear. Not including the tank it has about 110 lbs of equipment on it. I was worried with the design it would want to tip especially without the tank but it doesn’t.

Yes, I like that size Graveyard. I'm been pondering something narrower than 24" for a single tank, this looks stable.

What size tank is that, it looks like a 330cfm possible?

Looks really nice.

I have a 125cfm, so this size cart would be perfect for me. Thanks again for sharing!
