Anybody out there have any tips on tig welding schedule 10 stainless? parameters? gap?

Tight fit up, purge the inside, DC-, 50-70 amps, depending on how fast you move. no filler or 1/16" filler. should be a good start.

that was what i was thinking. thanks for confirming that for me. Do you think that rice paper would be sufficient for damming?

Tight fit up is important. Rice paper should be fine, I use what ever is handy, tape it up and don't catch it on fire.
