It ended up with a wrapping paper cover and it housed a snow blowing maching. It was a frame for a Christmas ornament hung from the ceiling of a mall in GA. Had to build 7.

It started rolling off the table and my arm was in the way and just happens to roll the last joint I welded on the only exposed part on my forearm. Talk about suck.

(Edit) I now see the error of my post. Sorry guys for not posting this in the projects thread.

Very cool - I like the center jig and the slotted top and bottom plates for even spacing - nicely done :)

I've burned myself more lately then I care to admit..lol With it being so damn hot lately I've been relaxed on wearing my jacket then inadvertently I always end up rubbing against a joint....duh.

Im also impressed with the jig, always interesting how guys do stuff....very nice. I may have missed it but what grade alum is that 5052?
I weld stainless, stainless and more stainless...Food Industry, sanitary process piping, vessels, whatever is needed, I like to make stuff.

Search for a post from a member by the screen name Pater Novem (father of nine, yikes) that tells what he learned while learning to weld, funny.

I added the link.
