I got to do my first real repair job tonight.

It's a bracket for the foot pedal on a tire moving dolly from work.

I know it's not pretty but I thought stacking a few beads on the high stress point would add some strength so it would be less likely to break.

I even made use of Jody's tip on tacking the parts together.

Hi Wild Bill,
Stacking beads will reinforce the joint a small amount.
A better idea would be to weld on some gusset plates.
Extend them past the brake.
