Nice repair work Ray! I know it sucks to have to rebuild an ear like that but it would have never held if you had only grooved out the crack and welded it. I always err on the side of caution on stuff like that. Not because it was a critical weld but because I don't want anyone coming back and bitching that it cracked off again.

The part that sucked was having to bend over and contort to try and get it done. Made me feel like a female porn star.

Well if the welding doesn't work out you got practice to perform in a different field of work :lol:
why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.
