Not to start a mig vs stick argument, I think all welding processes have their advantages and disadvantages. One of sticks advantages is having long leads that are easy to move around with.
I'd love to have a couple jib booms in my shop.

Your absolutely right pole framer, I run innersheild nearly everyday on these big buckets they run in the strippin pits. its a pleasure to run the stuff and I can burn maybe 40 - 45 pounds a day if Ive got a lot of stuff tackled up. but rollin the thing up at the end of the day is a pain the butt...especially when the roll in there isn't much used up. I had the chance to use a truck about 25 years ago that had boom on it, if I ever come across a boom for this rig I'm building I will buy it, I hung that wire feeder up on that hook and just had the time of my life
