Is it right the miller calculator wants more amps for 6mm than 4.8mm this is for self shielded 0.045 flux core

Wrote that wrong its stating more amps needed for 4.8mm compared to 6mm

That is peculiar...I have never run .045" self shielded wire so I don't know if it runs different, but maybe they want to do a multi pass weld if the wire type allows it or it is a typo in which you should contact Miller through the App Store or through their website. I can't think of any reason why it would be but like I said never run it so maybe somebody else has an answer.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.
