I was trying to figure out what technique whomever welded Jesse James Polara Chassis. Now I understand!

That chassis work is predominantly tig. I see a little mig on the diff housing parts but not the rest. Don't get upset if you can't mig like tig, Its' a hard thing to do, and you really need to be able to mig very well before you even try..

Almost every mig like tig I see is a poor weld - ZTFab is the exception of course

I mig like mig since that's what I'm using, I stick like stick, but I try to tig at mig speed

+1 on use the process the way it's meant to be - a good Mig weld is smooth & without obvious " dimes " - if you really want it to look like Tig then use a Tig - I do not see the attraction - it's just a bunch of stress risers & potential crack starts.
