Fronius Special 2 step

Hey guys, im currently running a fronius 7000 CMT hooked up to a fanuc robot. Theres a lot of new settings ive had to learn but one that i cant figure out is the Special 2 Step. I understand the starting current and the current duration but im not sure what the slope 1 and slope 2 do. Has anyone used this?
