I've only ever welding with 035 on my wire feeder and was thinking about trying 025 on a special project. I wonder if I can get away with using the same liner that's installed now. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'd just put the wire in and try it. But that's just me being cheap ole me.

Worst case things aren't going good you've got a good first suspect in the troubleshooting line up.

I’ve made the same thing work on the mp210. Flux core wire is softer so if your talking flux core then be prepared for lots of birds nests. Hard wire will probably be ok. Keep your lead as straight as possible. Any gun longer than 12ft will make problems more obvious and common.
I have more questions than answers
