I have a northern mig 135 (my first welder), has always worked fine but lately it has been acting up, now It won't feed wire but it makes the normal loud click when I hit the button, but the rollers don't roll. Wire feeds manually fine. Any ideas?

Hi there,

If you can take the torch off the welder, bend a piece of mig wire into a U shape and put an end into the spots where the control pins of the torch go. This will tell you if the problem is with the torch. If, when the wire is touching both control pin sockets, the wire feeds and the gas comes out, you know the torch has a prob. If not the there is a prob in the machine. Hopefully just a fuse of something small.

Good Luck.
Mick
