Has anyone tried running 4043 aluminum wire through a Lincoln PowerMig 256/300/350 using just the standard Magnum gun? I'm debating if it's worth a shot, or if I just need to break down and get a push pull gun.

Just use a teflon liner and keep the whip straight.

big thing is wire size. the bigger the diameter the easier it is due to its stiffness.
dual rollers helps and a short whip.
with my little mig it uses pulse so you can run a thicker wire and still weld thin material.
however that wire is a bit big for non-pulse welding. so i got a spool gun so i can run thinner wire.
tweak it until it breaks

as Oscar said, J....a short straight whip and a good teflon liner will work. Probably gonna need lots of gas too.
