i not sure what is wrong with my welder but everytime I pull the trigger even if I'm not welding it dims all the lights in my shop like its pulling a ton of power or something it just randomly started doing it any help would be awesome thanks.

Check your plug connections. A bad connection at the plug can make it draw high amps. Might be more serious than that but I would start there.

    That same thing happened to me, but with anything that pulled heavy 120V power, like an air compressor.
    Long story short, it was the ground wire coming into the house, the one from the transformer to the mast on the house. There are two insulated wires, and the bare ground wire. I could see it was broke and separated, don't know why it happened. Power company came out and fixed, all is well ever since.

    Just a long shot, it wouldn't hurt to take a look.
