Anyone familiar with a Lincoln Idealarc SP-250?

I know they're old but for a couple of hundred bucks a 250 amp mig welder might be nice to have kicking around...as long as it works.

If I could find one of these for a couple hundred bucks, I'd probably jump on it!

I sold one about 5 years ago for $1200. It made me lots more than that over the years. A beast on power consumption, but welded great.

The last thing I had to weld was 3/4 inch steel. The little Lincoln 125 wasn't going to do it. Break out the 250 amp stick welder.
Even with that, it took like 10 passes to fill the groove. That SP250 would have come in handy. Looking at the manual, it has a 100% duty cycle at 150 amps
