I have a 3G weld cert this week. Any tips? I have been welding for 20 yrs but no one ever knows it all and I really want this job.

Can you find out more about this test. Open root? Backing bar? Hardwire root, up or down? Thickness of material and backing if there is one? Innershield or outershield? Diameter of wire? What shielding gas? Any of this might help bring in some tips. The company, the QC man, or the CWI, should be able to give you all of this information.
