Hey i need to buy me a New welding Helmet and i have two that i really like.
I weld 6-8 hrs a day with Mig.

First one is the TITANIUM 9400™ Miller http://www.millerwelds.com/products/wel ... panel-9400

Second one Digital Elite™ Series Miller http://www.millerwelds.com/products/wel ... tal-elite/

Maybe some one has some experience with one of these Helmets.

Thank you.

Hey,

I dont know the Millers but same as you I do 6-10 hours mig per day, But with a Speedglas 9100 with flex view and adflo powered respirator. I didnt pay for mine but I would go and buy one my self if I had to, so that says something, right?

They are worth a pretty penny but the features and build quality are second to none.

I think that if you can afford to get the Speedglass that'd be the one ..
Jody did a review of the Digital Elite and gave it good marks, but also said there are other's out there for a full time welder..
Just learning...... welding noob

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I have been trolling through olds posts about helmets and noticed Mike said he loved the speedglass helmet from 3M. Link to their brochure

Are there any other suggestions for MIG welding only. I will be welding in my garage or in the driveway, so ventilation should be ok.

I do like the flip-up option.

Check out speedglas 100. The 9002 can have a flip front. But they are still dear. For mig only a 9002 v or basic one has no sensitivity and a smaller window. (if you can find one)

I recieved a brand new Miller Digital Elite Stars & Stripes 3 yesterday in the mail. I used an older Miller Digital Elite for 7 years until the batteries leaked & ate up the rubber holders & damaged the board inside. I am just a hobby welder & the Digital elite works fine for me.
