I bought a 220 suitcase mig awhile back. It came with flux core which made my welds look like crap. but i am not that good anyway. By recommendation of a rig welder that I am friends with I got mixed gas for it. The welds look great, but I get a lot of spatter before I can get it to burn quick. My welder doesnt have a ton of settings, 1,2 switches and a min and max switch. And of course wire speed. I dont know if maybe this is because I have a .30 tip with .23 wire or what. Just getting into it, and self teaching but any help would be great!

well since u dont have but two settings for your heat then you are gonna have to turn down your wire speed till it makes a nice sound with no ratt tat tat
