Hi :
Can anyone share their experiences with the two choices of spoolgun for the miller 211 mvp? There is the inexpensive spoolmate 100 and the more expensive 3035 with the SGA 100 adapter. I will be using the spool gun for aluminum which is my primary interest. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Spend the extra money.

The limited duty cycle and "pain in the ass" loading of the cheap spool gun will disappoint you.

Thanks. Does the cheaper spool mate 100 load differently than the 3035? From the pictures they look almost identical.

The SM100 has a "lid" that always wants to flip shut on you if you set it on a bench to load. It would load better if you had three hands.

I've not used the 3035, but I'm "told" this problem does not exist. The duty-cycle difference alone would guide my choice.
