Whos hiring and where, pay, hours, Certification tests given, tig, mig, stick?

Any tips on running a stainless "Stick" bead uphill on a plate? (no openings.....just a stainless plate.) :?

Stainless welds a little hotter so slow down a bit a depending on what you are welding maybe a slight weave

Stainless can be oretty hard to run uphill with no groove or gap, since it has a very fluid puddle, and a tendancy to run down away from you. My advice is to turn the heat up and keep the tightest, closest arc possible without sticking. Even though your running uphill, the arc force from the heat should keep in in line. If it starts to run, try weaving a little to spread out the heat.

Also, if you have an arc force control on the machine your using, turn it up. Or, you could use a smaller rod..
