Just for giggles whilst I'm working on one of the big 250UB32 columns for the shed, he's what I got up to on the weekend. Drove to a country property outside Ballarat and picked up this monster. 3800 long, 400 deep and over 1650 high. Probably close to 450 kgs. Now suspended on welded brackets and chains.

Nice find!

Small overheaad crane to lift it off the trailer and then I used the wife's forklift to get it into place.
We put the overhead beam and chain in last year. Best thing ever to save our backs.

We have a heap of cars in the shed, but love our two bikes. Ducati ST2 and a Suzuki M109R.

Just throwing it out there. But that doesn't look like a scrap car. nice bikes the kind you can enjoy.

It looks to be in immaculate condition from the limited photo. But the deck spoiler, isn't that aftermarket? Would be worth a King's Ransom if it were a RH driver!!!!

Yes a RHD model would be nice, but rarer than golden rocking horse shit as only 17 came to Australia, although quite a few made it to the UK. Mine is a Euro spec LHD as it came from the factory.

Mmmm....Phillip Island!

I rode that track for 2 perfect days last year. Hard work but such a beautiful track to ride, perfect surface and amazing corners. I could knee-surf across Southern Loop for a week and not get tired of it.

Well I've managed to complete the first three columns, painted and erected. One more is completed but in the paint bay waiting for the wife, and this morning I'm prepping number five. Scale and surface rust removal ready to weld.

They look bloody big standing up like that and took a bit of handling to erect on my own, But it's a start.
