Grandpa want to make metal Exalted Orb for grandson

Hi, I'm a grandfather, retired hobbyist. My grandson asked me to carve a figurine from his Path of Exile game, it's about Exalted Orb (I attached an example photo of a finished sculpture, the effect I want to get). I usually carve animals, not human faces, does anyone have any advice? Hey, my photo gone somewhere, whats wrong?
