What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Since college doesn't start till next week I got my entire afternoon at school free and live in the shop. Decided to build me a vise to make my roses at home more easily. Whole lot of 1/8" angle iron. I'd paint it but I'm just going to burn it off at some point so I figured I didn't need it. No plans for it, just threw it together cause I had nothing better to do today.

A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

You even have a place(s) to clamp it down. Did you MIG weld it? How did you attach the screw to the jaw?

90% mig welded. I did a little oxy fuel just for fun. On the inside of the square tubing there is a washer and a snap ring to hold it int place

A proof of you can make a useful tool without fancy machines.
