What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

Here's 2 X 1/4" angle to 2 X 3/8" structure.

1/8" 2% thoriated. 1/8" 4043 filler, 30% helium, 75% arc balance, 200A max on a foot-pedal.

Very Nice!!!

Have you ever considered a career in welding? You would be very good at it! ;)

I told everyone I was installing torpedo tubes.

The tape on the upper tube says, "PT-109"

Do the side tubes hold the hoses?

Yes, they are, in fact, called "hose tubes".

These were some of the lightest I've dealt with... 0.0625 wall tube. Welding the ends on was interesting, trying not to blow a hole through the tube while welding to a dirty casting.

That is pretty thin, but I'd imagine it's a weight thing. Everything on a trailer should be as light as possible, yet still strong, in order to haul the maximum amount of cargo. How much does a truckload of CO2 weigh?

Wow.

Liquid CO2 has about the same density as water. (Varies from 1.05 to 1.18, depending on temperature and pressure.)

Let's use water's 8 lb/gal., and an approximate 5000 gal. capacity. That's 40,000 pounds.

That's why I like the liquid hydrogen trailers... 13,000 gallons weighs 7400#.

That's pretty lightweight. No problems at the weigh stations for the hydrogen trucks! About how thick is the skin of the tank on those trailers? Is it about the same as a gas bottle? If so I would guess the trailer weight to be fairly heavy.

I once knew a guy who hauled 53' trailers of styrofoam. I think the whole truck only weighed about a hundred pounds more when he was fully loaded. He sure hated driving when it was slippery out!

A hyrogen trailer has an inner and outer vessel, separated like a thermos bottle. The inner vessel which actually holds the hydrogen is only .187 wall (the heads are closer to 1/4"). The outer vessel, which is under high vacuum, is 3/8".

The empty weight of a typical unit can be 49,000 pounds. Or 56,400 pounds fully loaded.
