What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

My brother in-law asked me to make him a ladder rack to store 6-8 ladders hence professional painter. Not sure where to start. I can weld almost anything but have not built much. Any help/ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Store?

Or transport on the truck?

I used to paint professionally, and all I needed to "store" ladders under 8' was a wall, and the tall ones went on hooks from the ceiling.

Rack is to store ladders at home on side of house. I was thinking something like an A frame with hooks on both sides. TY

1" thinwall conduit makes a great ladder rack hook. If you have access to a conduit bender, put a couple of 90 degree bends in a piece to form an "L" shape. It's quick, cheap and strong.
