What welding projects are you working on? Are you proud of something you built?
How about posting some pics so other welders can get some ideas?

There isn’t much room for anything but engine under that hood.
I have more questions than answers

Looks nice and clean!

Not sure if it's still a mock-up but I'd be a little concerned about the oil feed hose routing to the turbo in the picture..

Seems it's now running between the manifold and the downpipe. Could get awfully hot there even though it's a diesel and the peak exhaust temps are way lower than a gas one. PTFE (lined) hose can run up to 400F or so, but it will start degrading from that point onward. Also seems a little un-supported which could cause issues with the vibrations and weight of the hose cracking the fitting/connection to the turbo in the long run. (what? a big diesel having vibrations? nooooo.. of course not! )

Spraying hot oil over a turbo or manifold usually in the 'uh oh.. I think this is not so good' category

Could you perhaps run the oil hose from the block under and away from the manifold, towards the firewall and then up the firewall to get to the turbo from the other side? Just so it's far away from any 'hot pipes' as possible and with as little strain/stress on the hose and fittings?

Bye, Arno.

That little 4bt should be a beast in that TJ, interested in seeing what your fuel mileage improvement will be?
