Slatted Welding Table Conversion!!!

So I took the solid top off of my welding table and converted it to a slatted design. I like how it turned out. I managed to get the table level along the horizontal supports within about .050". Then I went diagonal......one way is level the other shows about 3/32" or so gap. If I tried to level that gap then the others are thrown off. I did shim it and had it leveled better but after the small welds I used some gaps showed. It's good enough for my purposes. I think the only way to get a perfect level table is to use brandish grinder. Pics next post.
