Hi,
Which certification do I need to choose to get a welding job? I have bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering but when I went for the interviews, they are asking whether I had done any certifications for any particular field. They asked me to get certification course and I am confused about it. I have seen a list of courses http://www.weldtechtraining.com/welding ... g-courses/? but confused in choosing one. Which course should I choose? Which one might have more scope in getting a jobs?

There are dozens (maybe hundreds) of different certifications involving different welding processes, materials, fillers and applications. All have their purpose and place. You can't get them all, but you can target them to your intended career.
So you tell us where you want to be and what you want to do and we can give good advice.

For example do you want to do:
-structural?
-marine aluminium railing
-stainless tanks?
-pipelines?
-nuclear?
-shipbuilding?
-construction plumbing?

Haven't scratched the surface yet.
