Are there any good weekend/one week workshops out there to learn new welding skills. I've realised lately that i have become somewhat stagnant in my fab/welding skills. I do mostly mig work. I would like to learn something new or just to be a better mig welder

I've never heard of something but I feel like more tech schools should do beginner weekend weld programs to get people more interested or for students to know if they really want to weld. You should go find a tech school and see if they'd consider because that would be pretty awesome.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

Hobart Institure in Troy, OH offers some 1 or 2 week programs. You can simply take the single course in which you're interested and leave. And it's near enough for a days drive to you (okay, a long day...)
