Is it ok to weld 304(L) with 316LSI rod?

I am a newbie welder from Finland. I bought my first welder Lincoln Speedtec 200 last year. I have been learning MIG/MAG welding.

Yesterday I bought second hand Kemppi MP 1500 with MTLG. Now I want to learn TIG welding.

What potentiometer is in the remote? 1K, 10K?
And what was the original wire diagram?

I need the info to be able to make remote for my Kemppi MP 1500
