ESAB Migmaster 250 Digital Meters

I am looking for the digital meters for an ESAB Migmaster 250, they originally had a part number of 32857, but do not seem to be available in the current market. If anyone has one, or knows where I can buy one, please drop me a DM at 503-351-2237. or reply to this post. As a last resort, does anyone...

Re: Primeweld TIG 225x Review/Discussion

Alan, I have had my 225x for several months now and I am very happy with the machine. The Lincoln 175 was OK on thicker Aluminum but was not that good on the thinner gauge material. I was a professional welder from the mid 60's through the 70's building on and off road heavy equipment with all sorts...

Re: Primeweld TIG 225x Review/Discussion

Alan, I started this post when looking for a new TIG welder, I have since acquired the Primeweld 225X and have had it for about a month and am very happy with it. I am only going to speak to 2 of your questions in this reply. First, since the 225x is a DV machine the power cord is about the same siz...

Re: Primeweld TIG 225x Review/Discussion

I also went and bought one based on the feedback of several YouTube channels. I have tried it on automotive sheet metal and find it more configurable than my Lincoln Square Wave 175 Pro. I have yet to try it on AL, which is why I bought it in the first place, but plan to get to it today actually. I ...

Welding Machine Meters

Anyone out there ever added either digital or analog voltage and or amperage meters to their machine? I have an ESAB Migmaster 250 that I would really like to add more precision to other than just numbered knobs and dials. Any past experience on a transformer machine would be appreciated.

Arc focus on Aluminum

I have an older Lincoln Squarewave 175 Pro that I am having some trouble getting a good focused arc with. The welds are good quality, clean and all, but the heat affected zone and the weld is bigger than I like to see. As anyone familiar with this machine knows the 175 Pro has no adjustment for anyt...

Primeweld TIG 225x Review/Discussion

I am new to this forum but not to welding. My current TIG machine is a Lincoln Square Wave 175 Pro which I am not all that happy with, so I have been looking at a new IGBT based machine and came upon this Primeweld review. Has anyone had any experience with the TIG 225x or other Primeweld welding pr...
