Re: Lincoln 210mp pulse?

Just some good words on the HTP 220. I was skeptical because my previous tries at Alum Mig without a spool gun was not good, constant problems feeding. The HTP works as descibed without a spoolgun. I've run a few pounds without a hangup, and the double pulse is cool, made it look like I knew what I'...

Re: Test coupon

As I said, the test parameters will be given. For super critical boilers, (around 3000 PSI) the wall tubes are very thick, with a small diameter, push through restricts the flow. You are probably testing on a 4 to 6 inch Arkansas Bell Hole. I've tested in refineries for header repairs where they wan...

Re: Test coupon

I'm an old retired BM tube welder. I have taken hundreds of those test to get hired. Your coupons are beveled with a knife edge for the TIG root, I would start at around 50 amps. If your too hot, and drop a bump inside, or too much push through, you will get looked out before getting to the stick ou...

Re: Lincoln electric weld-pak 100

That same thing happened to me, but with anything that pulled heavy 120V power, like an air compressor. Long story short, it was the ground wire coming into the house, the one from the transformer to the mast on the house. There are two insulated wires, and the bare ground wire. I could see it was ...

HTP MTS 220

New guy here. I just bought the new machine above, all is well, except I can't seem to find out how to purge the line without feeding wire. I read the manual, its probably in there somewhere, watched a bunch of youtubes also. There has got to be a way, and hope someone on here knows. I want to try p...
