I have this older snap on plasma cutter and for whatever reason it doesn't work. I have cleaned it checked and triple checked fittings and ground I'm at a loss why it won't work. Any help would be really great. Thanks

Re: Diversion 180 conversion

Has anyone changed out the stock torch handle on a Miller Diversion 180? I'd like to replace the current torch w/amp control for a smaller WP 9 with a weldtec whip type gas hose. The reason I want to do this is two fold - one is to make the hose lighter and not roll my wrist when trying to weld and...

Re: Miller Multimatic 220 torch upgrade

Man I just bought a miller diversion 180 Tig machine to learn and I have the same issue. The gas line is cranked hard to the left so I have to hold my torch with it under more pressure then feels comfortable. I had no idea that other lines could create a softer feel and help to make my torch feel li...

Re: How to use this?

MIG or TIG, body panels will distort. As you weld, the patch expands. As you continue to weld and restrict the panel, it shrinks while it cools and then distortion around it and within it comes. Not many ways around it. The best (very experienced body fabricators) will weld on a short stitch, then ...

Lightning up the tungsten

I was laying some beads on steel without filler as I am just learning and practicing. Then all of a sudden my arc instead of striking down on to the metal it was shooting up the tungsten and into the cup making a crackling noise and it's kinda scary. Any idea why this is happening? Miller diversion ...
