I also have to say I love the tig fingers that I got from ya. I pull them out when ever I fire up a welder now....

Re: TIG grounding concept for small parts. What do you think

Would the current going through the bearing cause a problem with it maybe becoming magnetized? Why not clamp the ground to the vise grips and save that problem? More direct ground it always better right?

Brass backer instead of Copper?

Will a brass plate help out with tig welding ss the same as copper? OR does it have to be copper to prevent the back of the welds crystallizing?

Thanks in advance guys. As always it is always appreciated.

Helmet Pressure causing Head Aches?

I was having a problem with the front of it and I got an extra pad with an air bladder in it to soften that up. Worked ok. ...

Mount an easy pic on the inside of your helmet lol. J/K. I am wondering if I could use something like that I don't have a problem seeing just don't want to be drooping my neck to see what is going on. Maybe that would help me out. Re: Angle steel corners

I don't think it would matter which way. The welds are just as strong either way. Its not like a wood connection where you want to maximize the area of connection. All that matters is that you like the outcome. Be artsy with it and miter the corners. Be functional and butt them together. Up to you. ...

I have a truck crane I got at a store for a great price. The post is about 5' high and had a ram to raise the arm up and a crank to haul up the load. Good for 1000 pounds. I will be making a block for the receiver and putting a trailer jack on it to take the load off the truck. (Don't want to be put...
