I do not see any significant advantage of digital 210ETX model over 250EX. May be I read too much and got a blind eye.
210EXT - less weight, less power, more expensive.
250EX - more power, better duty cycle, cheaper.

What did I miss?

My 2 cents:
1. What's the point wasting a whole lot of electricity, gas and wire?
2. I'd put a patch and weld it in. 1/4" is a convenient thickness. Bevel it on both sides if possible and weld from both sides.
