TIG brazing 1 inch .035 wall 316 stainless tubing?
Can someone put me in the ballpark of amperage? I need to fish some carbon fiber tube inside this stainless hence brazing vs welding the carbon fiber tube will be a tight fit. Thanks for any help!

JD Squared - The Beast Tube Notcher
This arrived recently, made in USA! Its every bit of the advertised 49 lbs. Pretty happy with it so far, it does need a fine adjustment modification for height, already purchased the parts for that at my local hardware store. Also gave TIG welding aluminum a first try...FAIL! http://www.coolidgeamps...

There's an Ellis 1100 for sale on my local craigslist for $750 they do pop up. https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/tls/6131561306.html I went with this one, a lot more money of course but more compact and mobile. http://www.coolidgeamps.com/pics/m1.jpg Here's the test cut they did on it at the facto...

Re: Cast Iron Porter Cable B9 6x54 Belt Sander
I had just spent $290 on a brand new Kalamazoo 1x42 belt sander...what an utterly useless pile of junk it is, hence I jumped on this Porter Cable. Oh that giant motor...its only 1hp lol.

Cast Iron Porter Cable B9 6x54 Belt Sander
I scored this today, apparently "B" is for BIG lol. Made in Syracuse, NY, we had to disassemble to lift it. 3 phase Master Electric motor, don't know the HP the motor plate is missing but it starts on my 5hp RPC. With 5 new belts $300.

Re: TIG Amateur Welds a ZTFab Welding Cart Kit
Thanks, I was surprised the cart came out flat and rolls on all 4 wheels. One thing though, my tungsten electrodes (I snapped them in half short half length) look like crap, all dark and burnt looking all along its length. I was using the air cooled torch at times near its limits. It seemed like I w...

Kit price with the add-on options (2 more cord hangers and the accessory tubes) $450 plus $90 shipping. It came well packed in like about a 30x30x10 inch box. PULSE TIG for the Win!! First tack welding...Jody was ZAP tack welding at like 150 amps. After some practice I got the hang of it but its a b...

Everlast 255ext and Powercool W300 TIG torch cooler $2,650 delivered with free shipping directly from Everlast how can you top that? Leaves you $350 left over for gas, tungsten, filler rods. I'm not a fan of the 'ex' vs the 'ext'. On the 'ex' there's so many knobs they can't really add any new featu...
