At least now you have a sweet tubing notcher, just notch out another tube and keep practising those aluminum welds! lol What did you have to do for the height adjustment?

Defiantly a gas coverage problem, have you tried turning up your cfm on your regulator while using that setup?

What do you have your machine set at, freq. balance, amps. argon cfh? how thick is the plate your welding?

Wow! Nice looking project you have going on there, you should have some nice low end grunt on tap. 1 ton up front should be about unbreakable. Are you going with a locker also?

Not sure where you live, but I always sent mine to a place in Grand Blanc Michigan to get sharpened. just google cold saw blade sharpening. :)

That stuff does work well, a friend and I are home brewers. He has a Nano Stout 3V setup mine is a Spike system we both use Bar Keepers to clean the kettles, never thought to use it to clean welds. Always learning something around here!! ;)

Lol, good luck on your Dynabrade wearing out, at least anytime soon. I've had their pneumatic version for years and it still performs as new, have one of their pneumatic DA polishers too bought used from a local plant that was using it 7 days a week, still going strong!...

Hi Jay,
If it works like a dream I would just use it as is. :) I have a older yet Miller Spectrum 2050 and looked into to up grading the torch but didn't think that the cost was worth it..

Glad your feeling better, I went through some tuff times a couple of years ago when I found out I had a brain tumor and had to have brain surgery. Fortunately for me I kept all my gear, lol. Still can't seem to get my mojo back but I'm not giving up.. :D Have fun with all your new toys! :)
